날씨사진제보앱의 참여 방법 및 보상 시스템에 대한 안내입니다.
<참여 방법>
앱 이용자는 2가지 방법으로 참여하실 수 있습니다.
▶ 날씨사진 제보 (=스냅)
- 현재 위치의 날씨를 보여주는 사진을 촬영하여 전송(제보)합니다.
- 제보는 정해진 주기에 따라 가능합니다.
ex. 제보를 한 후 20분 경과 후 다음 제보가 가능
- 제보 시점에 인접한 지역 내에서 다른 제보자가 이미 날씨 사진을 전송했다면 해당 시간대에 해당 지역에서 제보는 불가능합니다.
- 상기 2가지의 제한을 통하여 중복 제보와 중복 제보에 따른 이중 보상을 방지합니다.
▶ 날씨사진 평가 (=라벨링)
-앱에서 제시되는 사진을 보고 날씨를 선택합니다.
ex. 구름있고 강수있음 / 구름있고 강수없음 등
- 잘못된 사진이라고 판단되면 날씨 선택 대신 신고를 합니다.
ex. 날씨확인 불가한 사진, 사진에 유해성, 음란성, 광고 확인 등
- 추가적인 보상을 원하면 사진에서 확인되는 자연/재난 현상도 선택합니다.
<보상 시스템>
옵저버 팀에서 하루보상총량(obsr)을 고시합니다.
참여자는 참여 행위가 검증(QC)을 통과하면 각 행위별로 보상 점수(RP)를 받습니다.
하루 동안 참여자들의 RP를 모두 합산한 후 1RP당 부과 할 보상량(obsr)을 산정합니다.
익일, 각각의 참여자들의 RP에 맞추어 보상 처리합니다.
▶ 검증(QC) 방법
① 날씨사진 제보자 (=제보자)
제보한 사진에 대해 신고가 접수되지 않으면 해당 제보는 QC 통과로 간주합니다.
만약 신고가 접수되면 관리자가 내용을 확인한 후 제보자에 대해 조치합니다
(경고, 회원해지 등)
② 날씨사진 평가자 (=라벨러)
제보 사진에 대해서 다수의 라벨러들이 가장 많이 선택한 것과 동일한 것을 선택하였을 경우 QC 통과됩니다.
예를 들어, 1장의 사진에 대해서 참여자 A,B,C,D,E는 다음과 같이 날씨를 선택하였습니다.
A와 C는 QC 통과되고 B,D,E는 QC 탈락 됩니다.
만약 B도 “신고”를 했다면 가장 많이 선택한 항목에서 동점이 발생됩니다. 이럴 경우에는 A,B,C,D 모두 QC 통과됩니다.
날씨와 자연/재난 현상은 별도로 QC를 진행합니다. 아래 예시를 참고해주시길 바랍니다.
자연/재난 현상에 대해서는 B와 C가 QC를 통과하였습니다.
자연/재난 현상도 동점이 나올 경우 동점 모두 통과한 것으로 인정합니다.
날씨와 자연/재난 현상은 각각 별도로 QC를 진행합니다. 그렇기에 A는 날씨만 QC 통과, B는 자연/재난 현상만 QC 통과, C는 날씨와 자연/재난 현상 모두 QC를 통과하였습니다.
▶ obsr보상 계산 (예시안)
옵저버 팀에서 하루보상총량을 570obsr로 고시하였고 하루에 총 세명의 참여자가 있었습니다.
참여 행위별 보상점수(RP)입니다.
- 사진제보 : 10점 / 날씨선택 : 2점 / 자연/재난현상선택 : 1점
참여자별 QC를 통과한 참여 내역입니다.
참여자별 RP는 다음과 같이 합산됩니다.
1RP당 보상량은 2obsr입니다
(= 하루보상총량 570 obsr ÷ 전체 285 포인트)
참여자별로 아래와 같이 보상 토큰을 배정 받게 됩니다.

제시된 수치들은 모두 설명을 위한 것으로써 확정된 것이 아닙니다.
구체적인 내용은 앱 출시 후 참여자 이용 실태에 따라서 완성해나갈 계획입니다.

Weather photo report app preview #2 Layout
Below is the overview to participate in the weather photo report application and guide to the reward system.
<How to participate>
App users can participate in two ways.
▶ Upload weather photo (snap)
- Upload(report) by photo showing weather of current location.
- Users can report weather in a set period.
ex. Next report is possible 20 mins after the previous report.
- If another reporter has uploaded a weather-photo nearby, report at current location and similar timing is disabled.
- Double reward from duplicate upload is prohibited by above mentioned limitations
▶ Weather photo classification (= labeling)
- Select weather from the posted photo from application.
(ex) Cloudy with rain / Cloudy without rain, etc.
- In case of the photo being judged as inappropriate, instead of weather categorization such photos can be reported as inappropriate.
(ex) photo unable to judge the weather, photo with harm, obscenity, advertisement, etc.
- If you would like to go for an extra reward, please select natural/disaster event shown in the photo.
<Reward system>
The Observer team would announce daily rewards (in OBSR).
Participants are rewarded by RP(Reward Point) of each category after QC(Quality Checks).
Reward(OBSR) per 1 RP is calculated by total RP accumulated from all daily participants.
Reward is processed day after by each participant’s RP.
▶QC(Quality Check) methodology
1) Weather Photo Uploader(= Reporter)
If the photo is not reported as inappropriate, report is considered as passing quality checks. In case of the photo reported as inappropriate, the administrator would check the contents and take action to the uploader.
2) Weather Photo Classifier (= Labeller)
QC(Quality Check) passed when most labellers classified the same. For example, participants A,B,C,D,E are classified as below.
A and C pass QC and B, D and E fail QC.
In case C is reported inappropriate, all photos would be with the same point. In that case, A, B, D, E would all pass QC.
Weather and natural/disaster events would go through separate QC. Please find from below example.
Weather + Natural/Disaster Event
For natural/disaster event, B & C passed QC.
Likewise, for natural/disaster events if all events are with the same points, all pass QC.
As weather and natural/disaster events take QC respectively.
A : pass weather QC only
B : pass natural/disaster event QC only
C : pass both weather and natural/disaster event QC
▶ Observer reward(OBSR) example
Daily reward set by Observer team is 570 obsr. There are 3 participants in total.
RP per each participant’s activity.
- Photo report : 10 points / Weather classification : 2 points / Natural/Disaster event : 1 point

Daily reward (570 obsr) / Total RP (285 RP) = Reward per 1 RP = 2 obsr.
Each participant would receive below rewards.
Above was the participation method and 2nd preview of the reward system.
